Quick photoshoot near by home

Last week I spent less than 1 hour at this location with my girlfriend and we took some photos of each other. I used my DSLR and she used her Nikon F3 with Kodak Colorplus. You can see my work below and hers will most likely land on her Instagram and website soon.

PS. We do not encourage shooting on train tracks at any time, we had permission and confirmation there’s no trains coming to the sidings any time soon, so we were safe and far from main railway.

Concrete, fog, nature and silence…

And a model, too!

We came back from São Miguel a few days ago and of course we miss being on holidays. But at the same time we are excited with all the photos we brought from there. One of the most interesting things we did was a photoshoot for my girlfriend @joanarainer

The idea was to go to an abandoned hotel early morning and hope for the thick fog. In São Miguel, however, fogs may come and go at any time, so we were not sure what to expect. Thankfully, the fog was merciful for us and we could realize our vision at the first attempt.

A colorful dress was nicely contrasting from the surrounding dark concrete and at times the fog was not allowing us to take a photo from further than a few meters. But we managed and the results can be seen below.

Enjoy! 🙂

In surf we trust

Have you heard about Skate’n’Swell? Not yet maybe, but soon you will! It is a beachwear and streetwear company that is going to set off soon and I had the pleasure to do the first photoshoot for them. If it is for beach and surf lovers, where is the best place to do the photo session? Enjoy and let me know in the comments what you think.

Praktis, my man!

As usual – a little background. Lisbon being full of graffiti, street art of all kinds introduced me to some abstract faces here and there (alright, I’ve seen maybe 3 or 4) in 2017 and I realized that the author – Praktis – is from Poland, like me. Tagged him in my stories and because the pieces were still fresh I wanted to meet the guy, but turned out he was no longer here in Lisbon. Anyway we kept in touch and I was asked to take some photos of this awesome t-shirt! Luckily, one of the pieces that Praktis left behind is still in a good state (although the other half is already missing…) I used it as a background. Big thank you to Saula (a very good singer by the way!) for being a great model to work with.
